One of the “Top Ten Cultural Symbols of Chongqing”, it is located at the confluence of the Jialing River and the Yangtze River on the Yuzhong Peninsula in Yuzhong District, Chongqing. As the hub of the two rivers, it is also the largest waterway passenger terminal in Chongqing.

Chaotianmen was once one of the seventeen ancient city gates of Chongqing. Three Gorges cruises, sightseeing boats, and ferries to Foreigner Street all depart from here.

The night view of Chaotianmen is also extremely beautiful. When the lights are turned on at night, it is particularly stunning. In front of you is the brightly lit terminal, with gorgeously decorated cruise ships shuttling back and forth.
