It is not far from the main urban area of Chongqing. In the evenings of summer and autumn, the setting sun dyes the cliffs with a golden glow, making them look like golden – bodied Buddha statues shining with thousands of rays of light.

The two most important scenic spots are Jinfo Temple and Gufo Cave. Those who like excitement should not miss the cliff – hanging plank road.
The scenic area consists of the West Slope and the North Slope, both of which are equipped with cable cars. Visitors usually choose to ascend from the West Slope and descend from the North Slope.
From April to May every year is the peak – blooming season of the alpine rhododendrons in Jinfo Mountain. 600,000 rhododendron plants in the primeval forest bloom one after another.
